It operates in Out-of-Home Advertising, Airport, Retail, Clinic and Shopping Mall networks, serving as the technology engine that manages and powers digital screen networks. The solution is designed for DOOH Media Owners and Retail Media Owners, enabling their screens to operate in a fast, precise, stable and transparent way. The architecture is cloud-based and supports scalable deployments, from pilot implementations to massive screen networks. In addition, the solution's design, based on microservices and internal and external APIs, makes it possible to expose data and functions to other services, or to easily incorporate third-party services, allowing you to adapt the solution to your work environment so that it complements and serves the rest of your company's software environment. Doohmain is cloud-native, using Google Cloud Platform services to achieve better observability, high availability and low latency in a modern architecture that is resilient by default. ## Multi-region architecture Architecture diagram flow: Media Owners → GCP Global Load Balancer with geographic routing → GCP Premium Tier network → four regions (US East, US West, LATAM East and LATAM West), each with Shielded Compute Engine VMs, microservices, database, storage and CDN → DOOH Players. All Doohmain services are replicated across multiple regions to ensure low latency and high availability, automatically routing each user to the geographically closest PoP. All traffic travels over Google Cloud Platform's vast private Premium Tier fiber network, avoiding the public Internet and guaranteeing consistent response times at global scale. The result: always-local access, transparent failover and stable performance from any location. ## Interface and access A 100% web-based platform accessible from the browser. It enables: - Centralized screen management - Simultaneous management of multiple locations - Unlimited users - Remote access - Supports remote deployment and distributed administration. - Browser compatibility: The application is compatible with the main modern web browsers, in both Desktop and Mobile versions, that comply with current HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6+) standards. The platform is tested nightly on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Opera, Brave and Vivaldi, guaranteeing access on Windows, Mac and Linux, as well as on iOS and Android. ## Scalability Designed for multi-country and multi-industry networks. Examples of external data source integrations: Inventory systems, enabling real-time display decisions based on existing stock, sales in the last hour/day/week, choosing which products to promote based on availability or sales, etc. ## Proof of Play Doohmain includes: - End-to-end Proof of Play certification under ISO 9001 standards, from data capture to verification by the advertiser. - Automated capture of proof evidence from different sources: IP cameras, internal captures, external photographers. - Playback transparency - Campaign metrics and certification - Proof of Play export format and API: All statistics and certifications can be exported to PDF, printed, or exported as data that can be quickly imported into databases or spreadsheets. All importable formats are also automatically scaled and converted on-the-fly to each player's requirements, transparently for the user, and can be manually edited or converted using the built-in editor. - Zones: Doohmain enables the creation of infinite playback zones using its Layout editor, allowing completely independent content, playback settings and expiration in each one. - Dynamic content: Each scene can use Doohmain Widgets to access dynamic data, or any of the dynamic data sources already integrated into Doohmain, in a fully drag-and-drop way, with zero configuration. Audits and penetration tests are performed regularly to ensure the integrity of the system and prevent vulnerabilities. ## Retail platform integration Doohmain integrates via REST APIs with POS systems, both locally (same-device) and remotely, enabling advanced functions such as attribution, playback based on available inventory or sales statistics, and loyalty programs (not only integrating with them, but even performing data lookup and capture on-device if it is a touchscreen, using Doohmain's dynamic scheduling system). ## Connectivity and offline operation Doohmain can operate 100% offline with no time limit, following the playback and expiration rules it has received. This feature requires no specific activation, since all content is always downloaded to a local cache and failover is automatic. It also makes it possible to set an opt-out of this feature for each piece of content, so that certain content is only played when the system is online. This functionality is maintained even if the device restarts after losing internet access. Doohmain's publishing system enables remote updates of the software and of the content it plays, as well as of third-party libraries and functions, using multiple bandwidth-saving strategies, including on-the-fly compression and incremental changes. It also incorporates a download system that adapts to intermittent or slow network connections, with an aggressive retry policy. ## Metrics and KPIs Doohmain has a complete statistics system that makes it possible to track, for each playback: demographic characteristics, dwell time, attention, segmented impressions, and other metrics, to the extent that the existing metrics offered by the technology partner or by other data sources owned by the customer allow it. Custom developments to obtain and chart business-specific metrics based on the statistics collected by Doohmain and their cross-referencing with other data sources. ## Integrations with existing systems As described in the previous sections, Doohmain can integrate bidirectionally and in real time with POS, CRM and ERP systems, enabling attribution, segmented performance, conditional playback based on inventory, reports, etc.
